// Periodic review to foster a 360-degree perspective of every circumstance in a project

Taking proactive measures for efficient delivery

This evaluation procedure takes varied amounts of time depending on the criticality and complexity of the project. The goal is to go over important deliverables, team alignment, and anything else that affects the timely and effective delivery of the project.

To ensure the essential three triangles of scope, time, and budget stay predictable, any project must have a structure to see beyond numbers. We don’t only look at numbers, unlike many others.

The goal of the evaluation is to assess “Completeness” and Experience.

To accomplish so, we enlist key stakeholders who drive the project, as well as some neutral but experienced individuals from other teams, to review the results and elevate the project situation to a higher level of satisfaction.

Breaking Bad

What client thinks?

  • The start is too slow.
  • Miscommunication
  • My team lacks experience!
  • Milestones that are undecided
  • Dissatisfaction
  • Nobody cares!

What’s the reality?

  • Incomplete comprehension
  • Only knowing the tip of the iceberg
  • Slower responses / approvals
  • Client priorities are unknown.
  • Just performing it as a task (in fact, many clients expect us to:))

The Project Review Process - Echo Meetings

All initiatives in the development stage are assessed at least every two weeks. In other circumstances, such as delayed projects, we review them at least once a month. The goal is to go over the project timetable, open issues, current team feedback, effort burn down, delivery milestones, and overall project schedule.

This not only offers us a better image of where the project is, but it also allows us a glimpse into the near future.

Looping in Clients in the Review Process

We realise that an internal review provides us with one side of the story. However, successful offshore initiatives always require customer attention, especially when measuring success or failure.

With clients engaging in such an evaluation, the team can learn about some of the hazards that are typically not mentioned at the outset.

Planning based on the existing circumstances is more significant than planning from the start of the project, allowing for adaptability and a realistic approach.
